Joining Fountain Colony at its formation in September 2000., Julie currently brokers or co- brokers approximately 1,000,000 square feet of commercial space in the Colorado Springs metro area for clients. Julie has been involved in over 350 transactions totaling more than $50,000,000 of sales and leasing activity.

Specializing in Medical Office and Office projects, clients include United Way, United States Veterans Center, Colorado Center of Orthopedic Excellence, CASA of the Pikes Peak Region and many other prominent medical, and non-profit organizations. Offering detailed strategic and market analysis of buildings to lease, sell or buy; services include targeted market pricing and valuation, operational layout, contract review and negotiations and on- going professional consultation.

Prior to joining Fountain Colony, Julie was an Assistant Vice President and Regional Manager for Heitman Retail Properties. In this capacity she acted as General Manager of Coronado Center, a 1.2 million square foot super regional mall in New Mexico. Julie’s west coast regional responsibilities included the financial, temporary leasing and operational supervision of six additional regional malls. An International Council of Shopping Centers national award winner in commercial advertising and community relations in 1994, 1995 and 1996, Julie assisted in developing many high quality and innovative programs to increase the value of the investments she managed.

In 1996, Julie joined Griffis/Blessing, Inc. in Colorado Springs again performing commercial management duties. In 1999, Julie took on the role of Vice President of Brokerage and Acquisitions at Griffis/Blessing. Julie oversaw the leasing of 750,000 square feet of office, medical, retail and industrial properties. Julie’s department frequently worked on special projects such as market analysis, due diligence and in-depth property investment analysis.

Julie holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Mankato State University in Finance, Real Estate and Insurance, with a minor in Accounting. Julie also holds the CSM (Certified Shopping Center Manager) designation and is active in the Realtors Commercial and Industrial Society (RCIS). Julie lives in Woodland Park where she volunteers in the local schools.
